I’m not sure what to write about today. Not much has happened at all. I dusted and vacuumed my room, and that’s about it. I also got a call from this place which is giving my dad a quote on a new counter and sink for the upstairs bathroom. The lady said something like this: “Could you please tell your dad that the quote will come to somewhere around $109…and 3 cents.” I wrote it down and said thank you, and then was like, Somewhere around? How is that an approximation? Did she shave off half a cent or something? I can’t stand when people do that. It’s like someone saying, “Oh, it’s approximately 5:04 PM.” Yeah, thanks for giving me that estimate, down to the exact minute. I could have used the seconds, though.
Anyways, I think that’s really all I can write about today. I haven’t done much of anything today, so I have nothing to talk about. And I can’t think right now, so I can’t talk about anything deep and profound. Hmm. Oh well. I guess I’ll just have to put this amazingly intricate sentence in to replace an intelligent one: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. Think about that for a while. You might glean some important information from it. You might also learn your alphabet.…
Well, there’s not much to talk about today. That’s a good thing, considering I don’t have that much time anyways. I have to be heading off to Port Dover in about an hour. I suppose that’s enough time to write a huge blog entry, but I also have other things to do. Anyways, today I’m pretty tired, for mainly one reason: Steph. I suppose it’s not really her fault, but whatever. Let me tell you the story.
I was talking to Melissa and Steph yesterday about going to Port Dover. Everything was fine, and I figured I’d just make the final sort of arrangements today when I saw them at school. After all, most of it was already arranged by my youth group; it was mostly a matter of me knowing whether I had to pick them up or whether they were getting dropped off at the church. Anyways, everything was fine and dandy until the ride home on the bus after school, when I realized that I wasn’t going to see either of them tomorrow. They, Jon, and Bethany were helping out at CBA’s softball tournament, so they weren’t going to be at school. That’s when I started to think of emergency backup plan #1.
Well, okay, I didn’t call it that. But I had to get ahold of one of them last night so that they could figure everything out between themselves today. So I called Steph’s house. Her brother told me that she was working until 10:30…Continue Reading
Today has been an interesting day – it’s strange because usually Saturday mornings are the most uneventful day for me. It all started at about 5:30 AM – well, the day technically started at 12:00 midnight, but for me it was at 5:30 when I woke up. This happened several times during the night – my traditional waking up ceremony that I so wonderfully enjoy (not).
Anyways, at about 10:00 AM, my mom came into my room and woke me up to tell me they were leaving for this funeral thing that they were going to up north. She told me some stuff that I really don’t remember much of, except that they were coming back around 6:00 PM or so. I said something like, “Mhm, alright,” and drifted back off to sleep. I think they ended up leaving around 10:15 or so, and by 10:30 I suddenly woke up. Boom – I was wide awake. It was weird. So I went downstairs, grabbed some cookies, and continued walking downstairs to turn on the computer. This is my typical Saturday morning routine. Get up, get something to eat, go on the computer and visit all my regular websites.
After I had enough of being lazy, I decided to go up and have a shower. I got in, did that cool stuff we like to call “hygeine,” and was just drying myself off when the phone rang. Now, while my sister is home for the summer, she’s actually out at a…Continue Reading
