Hey there. Nothing really happened today except for a cool offer I found. Over the past month or two, I’ve been reading about these websites that offer free iPods for trying out offers from different companies and referring people to the site. It sounded too good to be true, as I read about people signing up for the free offer at eBay or whatever and then canceling it, referring a bunch of people to do the same, and then getting an iPod for it.
Of course, I was immediately skeptical; it sounded too much like a scam. But the more I read about it, the more I started to believe the people. Here were people who would have nothing to gain from lying about a scam, and there were people all over the place talking about it. I started to look into it a little bit. It sort of made sense; if the website can make a deal with a company to get money for people referred to their offers, then they could afford to give away iPods. Plus, because people are required to refer others to the site, for every iPod they give away, they get five or six more people to refer to the companies.
So today I decided to try it out. At first I just searched Google for “free ipod” and got some sites, but they only shipped to the U.S. It took a bit of digging to find one that shipped to Canada. One of…Continue Reading
