Adventures in the Clothing Department

I really don’t have much to say today. I could go on another rant about females, but I’ve been doing that way too much lately. I mean, I could write an entire book on that topic – maybe even a trilogy – but the fact is that I still fall for them every time. Well, maybe not every time; I don’t go chasing after every girl that comes my way. But the fact is, girls are annoying, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. They get on my nerves, but if they didn’t, my nerves would be incredibly bored and might just get up and leave. That’s definitely not a good thing.

Let’s see here. Yesterday I basically lazied around most of the day. I did a bit of homework, but mostly just played some weird games I found on the Internet. My mom took me out to Wal-Mart and I got a new shirt for today, since I played bass this morning for church, and I’m not allowed to wear t-shirts on stage. So I found a nice shnazzy green button-down, short-sleeved shirt that I really like. It’s really comfortable because it’s nice and light. I can’t really describe what colour of green it is; maybe a forest green or something would be closest. As I look down at my shirt, since I’m wearing it right now, it has sort of a checkered pattern with slightly lighter green lines – but it’s not really obnoxiously checkered or anything. I saw a lot of those shirts when I was looking for one yesterday; they were gross, and were the same sorts of patterns that people put on boxers. On that note, I was also looking for boxers yesterday as well; I wanted some nice gaudy, nasty-looking patterns on them. Unfortunately, the only ugly ones were too big. ‘Twas a shame, but that’s what I get for being such a skinny guy, I suppose. Oh, the horrors of it all.

Other than that exciting excursion to the depths of Wal-Mart clothing racks, I lazied around all day, as I already said. Soon before I went off to bed, I fixed up the archives on my blog a bit, though. I’ve been meaning to do that for a while now, but just haven’t gotten around to it. Now it looks much better though, and is easier to navigate. The thing I don’t like about Blogger is its limitations. I mean, I can do a lot, but I can’t do anything I want. I could make a similar system if I wanted to, making it do all the same stuff as Blogger and more, and that would give me the freedom to just add in something if I needed it. Don’t have it, but want it? Just plop it in the code on the back-end. Unfortunately, with Blogger, I don’t exactly have access to the back-end code. Then again, they give me free hosting. So I suppose you give up one thing to get another. I don’t exactly want to pay for hosting, so I suppose limited freedom will have to do. Anyways, with all that said, I still did what I wanted to do with the archive pages, making it a lot easier to find what you want. Now all they need is a search mechanism – which is frustrating, because I would have already made one by now if it were my system. Grr!

But anyways, I think I’m done for today. I’ll likely keep my rear end parked here in front of the computer for a while yet, and then go up and read some Tom Clancy as well as do my Bible reading. I’ll also have to go up and get something to eat, because I’m hungry, even though we just had lunch not too long ago. My mom made sausages with this awesome sauce on them – they were amazingly good. Unfortunately, though, I’m still hungry. Whatever. I’ll probably go up and get myself a bowl of Frosted Cheerios, because those things rock almost as much as Mini-Wheats. Ahh yes, the breakfast – er, snack – of champions.
