Today my school had their flag football tournament against several other schools from southern Ontario. Now, get this: our whole school was involved in the tournament.
Haha I love saying that. I go to a really small private high school with 22 kids this year. Yes, that’s in all four grades. So we had two football teams, one a guys’ team and the other a girls’ team. We (the guys’ team) only won one game, which was an improvement from last year. We almost had two games, but a few strange calls from the refs meant we lost the game to a homeschooling group.
But anyways, I think everyone had a great time. I got a touchdown, another first I think for me; I usually play runningback and get used for the short, quick plays to gain a first down with a few yards left. Everyone had a lot of fun, and the best part was that it wasn’t all rainy and mucky like last year’s tournament. It was great weather, a great time, and now everyone has great muscle pains. My legs are absolutely killing me; my ankles barely move, my knees make me feel like I’m 80 years old, and even the other joint in my leg hurts – I’m not sure what they’re called, the one right below the waist. But those really hurt for some reason, and I’m not sure how to really stretch it out. Hmm…
